Bump in the road for paid sick leave bill

In March, the Coalition for Healthy Families and Workplaces—of which
Bread & Roses and many of its grantees are members—again moved City Council to pass a bill requiring businesses with at least six employees to offer paid sick leave. For the second year in a row, Mayor Nutter vetoed the bill.
