Each year, Tribute to Change brings together Bread & Roses’ community of organizers, donors, and the overlapping cross-section of these folks to honor changemakers in the Philadelphia region.
The theme for this year’s Tribute to Change is “Turning the Tide: Climate Justice and the Fight for Liberation.” We will celebrate the individuals and organizations working on the front lines of the climate crisis to create a world that sustains us all—from access to clean air and water, to holding corporations and policymakers responsible for the climate crisis accountable, to ensuring those most impacted by climate change have a seat at the table in decision-making for their communities.

While the climate crisis impacts us all, we know that Black and Brown communities and low-income communities are subject to the harshest dangers and realities of climate change. The loss of life and the displacement of tens of thousands of people is devastating. Climate emergencies are increasing in frequency at an alarming rate, fueled by corporate greed and apathy on the part of policymakers.
The Tribute to Change will be held Thursday, June 26, 2025, at Fairmount Water Works from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
