Jonathan Lax Scholarship Reception

Lax Scholarship for Gay Men Reception

Join us as we celebrate the five recipients of the 2016-2017 Jonathan Lax Scholarship for Gay Men!

The scholarship was established in 1994 by the late entrepreneur and inventor Jonathan R. Lax for the purpose of encouraging gay men to obtain additional education; aspiring to positions in which they contribute to society; being out about their sexual orientation; and acting as role models for other gay men with similar potential.

This year’s recipients are Matthew Armstead, Ian Jeong, Michael Kokozos, Nicholas Palazzolo, and Felipe Vazquez. We are excited to see how these scholars will contribute to Jonathan Lax’s legacy.

Friday, October 7 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
William Way LGBT Center, Ballroom
1315 Spruce Street

Pre-registration has closed, but there’s still plenty of space, so please join us this evening!
