Bread & Roses' annual gala, the Tribute to Change, is where those of us who believe in and fight for social change get together to honor our own.
In celebration of the hundredth anniversary of the worker's strike that Bread & Roses is named after, this year's Tribute to Change will spotlight local labor and worker's rights heroes in Philadelphia and the region.

ROAD MAP TO CHANGE
With input from hundreds of stakeholders, a committee drafted recommendations to strengthen Bread & Roses' role in supporting community organizing for social change, like: providing more and larger grants, offering strategic training to make grassroots organizations sustainable, and helping to convene coalitions.

CHANGE, NOT CHARITY
Founded in 1977, Bread & Roses Community Fund is a unique partnership of donors and activists who share a vision of a just society, one in which power and resources are distributed equitably.
Bread & Roses raises money from individuals to provide grants, technical assistance and leadership development to support community-based organizations in the Delaware Valley that are taking collective action to bring about social change. And through our membership in the Funding Exchange, Bread & Roses is part of a national funding movement to support social change philanthropy.
Bread & Roses relies on both large and small contributions from individuals to create real change in our region. Join our community of supporters to fund community organizing in the Delaware Valley! Make a donation or learn about planned giving options today.
